2026 Ottawa Summer Walks 2026-07-24—08-04

Images 1-3 are from a hike in Gatineau Park to Meech Lake. Photos 4 & 5 are from falls behind a lovely Italian restaurant in Almonte. Photos 6 through 22 are also from Gatineau Park, a walk on the Mackenzie King Estate grounds. There are numerous faux ruins that Mackenzie King had constructed, including those from a faux abbey. Photos 23 to 30 are from a hike through the forest on the estate to a waterfall.
